Uprooted Tree

It's not often we come across a Honey Locust so it's a pity to see an uprooted one.

The Honey Locust has dense foliage and this doesn't help when it comes to sodden ground and windy weather. The tree, in a Nottingham garden, was leaning precariously towards the house so we set about its careful removal.

There was also a certain amount of decay travelling up the trunk and this underlines the importance of keeping an eye on your trees, especially when close to properties or public spaces.
