One or two of these old silver birch trees had already started to lean badly and some were showing signs of decay. Silver Birch trees don't have particularly deep roots and when the ground around becomes saturated, they're prime candidates for a fall especially as they tend to grow at an angle.

After carefully surveying the situation we set about safely reducing and then removing the trees, as well as some that had already fallen.
