These limes in the centre of West Bridgford were starting to get out of hand

It looks quite brutal but these limes will be bursting with life again by spring. Some of the lower growth was beginning to obstruct the footpath.

Limes take well to pollarding and it keeps them within their allotted space without causing any long term damage. It's a great way of keeping trees on the high street.

As ever, we gained the relevant local authority permissions and public safety was paramount at all times.
