Felling Large Poplars

These Poplars had outgrown their space and were starting to show signs of decay...

In between the storms, we've managed to do some more routine work, such as felling these very large trees. They really were close to property and at somewhere between 30 and 50 years old the level of decay they were beginning to show was alarming.

We were able to safely dispose of limbs before bringing the trunks right down and the grinding back the stumps to allow for turfing.
