Felling a Spindly Conifer

Sometimes conifers grow straight and tall - this one was a little different.

With no one central trunk, this conifer had grown quite 'spindly' and we were amazed that it could actually support itself. 

This is why the property owner got in touch - we tend to think that if it was exposed to high winds it may well have started to drop limbs onto surrounding buildings and paths.

We soon go to grips with felling this conifer but it was a little unusual.
