This very large Acacia was badly decayed at the base and leaning on a telephone line! Having surveyed the scene, we used a boom to first reduce the tree, starting with the overhanging branches.

As soon as it was safe enough to do so, we climbed the tree to reduce the trunk further. 

It actually looks quite dramatic but with the right equipment and a sensible approach we were able to quickly and safely get the job done.
