Cherry Tree Damaged in Storms

A summer storm badly damaged this old cherry tree in Nottingham.

Laden with leaves at the height of summer and along comes a storm. This cherry was showing signs of decay so with the leaves catching the wind it didn't take much to leave it in a dangerous position.

The property owner did the right thing and called us after the tree dropped a couple of branches in strong winds. Luckily there was no damage people or property but it wasn't possible to save the tree due to decay. After a quick survey of the area, We removed further damaged branched and then felled the tree.
