A couple of nice and healthy trees in a suburb of Nottingham were causing some concern to the home owner so we popped along to take a look.

Their height was probably the most concerning thing as although Silver Birches are pretty wind resistant in clumps, when they're exposed like this, their shallow root system can be concerning.

The other consideration is the quantity of catkins that trees of this size produce, and they get everywhere!

Doing some reduction work will ensure that both problems are tackled for the next few years.
