We completely removed this partially dead conifer hedging - it really wasn't doing anybody any favours. Full of gaps and looking decidedly sorry for itself, it wasn't difficult to see why this had to go. 

Having reduced the trunks down to stumps just above ground level, we brought in our stump grinding equipment to allow the ground to either be replanted or fenced immediately after we were finished. No waiting around for stumps to die back, no chemicals - just mulch.
