Felling a Sycamore Tree

With wet weather and recent storms this sycamore was leaning dangerously.

With more storms approaching this tree was in a precarious position. Having already dropped limbs and with a distinct lean towards a nearby path, there was only one thing for it and that was to fell it completely.

The sycamore tree must have been there for some time but it was definitely time to go. We assessed it as being safe to climb and that made the job a little easier. Having carefully reduced the tree we used our stump grinder to prevent any regrowth.
