Decayed Beech Tree in Nottinghamshire

This is a beautiful old tree but one limb was badly decayed

With a tree this old it's always worthwhile keeping an eye on things - this large limb had shown signs of dying back and after some investigation it was decided that the best course of action would be to remove it.

The rest of the tree is sound but this was a significant limb and you can see how we reduced it in sections.
