A variety of non-native trees had sprung up on a 'brown field' site in Nottingham and sooner or later they would have to be removed to allow for housing development.

They were getting to the point where their size was beginning to impact on existing housing in the area - they really were living on borrowed time. Hopefully we'll be back to plant more trees and landscape the area when the development is complete.
