During recent stormy weather this old Beech tree had been showing signs of becoming uprooted - you can see where the ground is bulging. Had the tree fallen it could have been quite catastrophic as it's so close to a public right of way.

We estimated this tree to be over 72 feet and maybe 80 years old - it could have come down overnight in the wrong kind of weather though.

Having attained the relevant permissions we set about removing limbs before safely reducing the tree and finally removing the stump.
